Review MINOX Classic Camera Leica M3 - Point & Shoot camera - 8x11mm - lens: 15 mm / Minox M3:

The fact that a Leica is far more than a camera has been proved time and again by its creators. A good example is the Leica M3, which had its great moment in 1954 - four years after the launch of the elegant masterpiece, the Leica IIIf. With its built-in bright line view and range finder and its innovative bayonet interchanger for the lens, the Leica M3 was a technical revolution that took the hearts of notable photographers and experts by storm. And with a total of 225, 000 produced, this top model remains the most successful Leica of all time. 1: 2. 5 - this is the scale MINOX used six months ago to recreate the Leica IIIf faithfully and with all its functions. Now it is time for a new miniature edition, which combines two legendary names. Like its predecessor, the Leica M3 classic camera from MINOX is not only impressive because of its unique design, but also because of its excellent photographic results. This is guaranteed by the well-known MINOX 8x11mm film, the Minoctar 1: 5. 6/15mm lens (3 lens elements in three groups) and, last but not least, by the stable metal casing with engraved serial number.

Review Leica R9 35mm Manual Focus SLR Anthracite Camera Body - USA #10090 / Leica 10090:

The LEICA R9 has been designed in such a way that it makes good sense for a photographer: it is not overloaded with technical features but carries everything which a photographer needs to control his/her results. The basis philosophy is typical for Leica: you can operate the camera instinctively without moving your eyes from the viewfinder, where you have all important information permanently at sight. Thanks to its R bayonet, the LEICA R9 is compatible with virtually all R lenses made since 1965. Nearly all current Leica R lenses are equipped with ROM contacts, which establish specific communication between camera and lens, leading to perfect exposures. The illuminated display on the back cover, in addition to the viewfinder, is an information center on the LEICA R9. It becomes activated as soon as the camera is switched on and the shutter release is touched. You then have a clear overview of all the current settings. Among other data, it shows the number of exposed pictures, film speed, exposure correction settings and battery condition. You can also correct the exposure in the multi-pattern metering mode. An LCD exposure counter on the top of the camera is permanently visible as long as the camera is switched on. [+]
Accurate exposure metering and control are prerequisites for successful photographs. The LEICA R9 features selective-, integral- as well as sophisticated multi-pattern exposure metering whose level can be changed by tenths of a step. The result: optimal harmonization with the various types of films. Metered value storage can be used with selective- and integral metering. The selected shutter speed and aperture combination is automatically stored when the shutter release button is pressed to the second pressure point. The various exposure modes enhance flexibility, quickness and not least, your creative freedom.

Review Leica M7 10546 35mm Rangefinder Camera with 0.72 Viewfinder (Black) / Leica 10546:

Classics are works that clash with the present. They are never modified - instead they are re-interpreted on the basis of a changed world: with the LEICA M7, a classic celebrates a new premiere. Convenience and fast operation of the camera have been enhanced even further with automatic shutter speed control and detail improvements. The Leica cloth focal plane shutter - with its vibration-free and quiet action is a must for a genuine Leica M camera - is now controlled electronically. Form, size and the proven operating concept were retained without changes. Virtually all system components of the preceding models remain compatible. Photography with the LEICA M7 is a surprisingly new and yet unchanged experience. Make automatic exposures: stepless automatic shutter speed control with metered value storage. Work more accurately: cloth focal plane shutter controls exposure times electronically. Stay informed at all times: Unique LED integrated in the viewfinder. [+]
Start immediately: An ON/OFF switch is positioned ergonomically right next to the release button. Flash at ultra-high exposure times: In conjunction with special Metz flash units can now flash at synch speeds up to 1/1000 second.
