Designed to provide a high-resolution picture from an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic, smoke-colored dome housing, the Pro Video CVC-645DC works very well in low-light conditions, and can rotate 360 degrees and tilt plus-or-minus 90 degrees. 25-inch color CCD (charge-coupled device) sensor with a 3. 6-millimeter wide-angle lens, and provides 512-by-492 effective pixels. The CVC-645DC has a high resolution of 420 horizontal TVL (TV lines), is very sensitive to light with a minimum illumination of one Lux, and achieves a S/N (signal-to-noise) ratio of 48 dB or better. The Pro Video CVC-645DC uses the NTSC color TV scanning system, and includes a standard RCA video output with a BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) adapter. This unit runs on 12-volts DC power, and can operate in temperatures ranging from 14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. The CVC-645DC comes complete with a built-in automatic electronic shutter with speeds ranging from 1/60 to 1/100,000 of a second. About Surveillance Camera Technical Features Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away.
