The SY2715WQ features on-screen viewing of date/time/camera, one-camera full-screen or sequential full-screen modes, still-frame in full-screen or quad mode, and an on/off monitor switch that allows you to continue recording while the monitor is off. This unit also features a 2x zoom, on-screen programming and selectable dwell times. Multi-voltage compatible, the SY2715WQ's monitor runs on 100 to 240-volts of power, achieves a high horizontal resolution of 400 TVL (TV lines) at center at up to 30 fps (frames-per-second), and has an operating temperature of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. [+]
The three standard wired cameras that come with the SY2715WQ utilize 0. 25-inch color CCD (charge-coupled device) image sensors and achieve a horizontal resolution of 330 TVL. Powered from the monitor via the connecting cables, these cameras feature an automatic iris with shutter speeds ranging from 1/60 to 1/100,000 of a second, and built-in microphones and speakers that allow for two-way audio from the monitor to a camera's location. The SY2715WQ's cameras come with their own 65-foot connection cables, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. The SY2715WQ's two wireless cameras utilize the 2. 4 GHz signal system allowing reception up to 300 feet away (with a clear line of site), and to a limited distance through walls and ceilings. Utilizing a 0. 25-inch color CCD (charge-coupled device) image sensors, these wireless cameras include a 78-degree wide-angle fixed lenses and deliver resolutions of 350 horizontal TVL (TV lines) with 512 by 492 active picture elements. These units feature built-in microphones that allow listen in audio, and an automatic iris with shutter speeds ranging from 1/60 to 1/100,000 of a second. The Sylvania SY2715WQ's wireless cameras both run on 12-volt DC power adapters (included), and can operate in temperatures ranging from -14 to 122-degrees Fahrenheit. Technical Features: Camera included: 3 wired, 2 wireless Image sensors: 0. 2-inch color CCD for both Resolution: 330 TVL for wired cameras, 350 TVL for wireless cameras Operating temperature: -14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit for both cameras; 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit for monitor Monitor dimensions: 14. 7 x 14. 5 x 13. 3 inches (W x D x H) Wired camera dimensions: 2. 16 x 3 x 3. 34 inches (W x D x H) Wireless camera dimensions: 2. 875 x 5. 875 x 1. 875 inches (W x D x H) Designed primarily for indoor use, the Sylvania SY2715WQ offers you everything you need in a security surveillance system. Compatible with other Lorex digital video devices, when used with a time-lapse VCR or DVR the SY2715WQ allows up to five cameras (three wired and two wireless) to be controlled, viewed, and recorded all by a single unit. Users should note that the CCD image sensors in the cameras may become permanently damaged if exposed to long hours of direct sunlight or halogen light, so the cameras should not be mounted or pointed directly at the sun or other bright-light sources. About Surveillance Camera Technical Features Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Thus a sensitivity of three would mean a camera could generate an acceptable picture of a piece-of-paper-sized object that was illuminated by the equivalent of three candles from one meter away. The lower the level, the better the camera's ability to work in low-light conditions. The camera's resolution should be greater than or equal to the resolution supported by the system's recorder or monitor. The S/N, or signal to noise ratio, is an important measure of a camera's quality. A poor camera, low-light conditions or poor wiring causes "noise" which consumes processing power and disk space. A camera with a wide dynamic range is ideal, especially for recording areas in which both indoor and outdoor light are present. CCD (charge-coupled device) sensors provide high-quality images that are less susceptible to noise. CMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor) sensors offer less image quality, but are usually more cost-effective and energy efficient. What's in the Box Monitor, 3 standard cameras with stand, 2 wireless cameras with metal bracket, 2 power adapters for wireless cameras, and 3 cables (65 feet).
