Tele Vue Everbrite diagonals deliver top-of-the-line image quality. Their dielectric, nonmetallic coating is 99% reflective across the full visual spectrum, resulting in the brightest, most natural image available. The coating is applied to Pyrex glass with a surface accuracy of a 1/10 wave. The body is machined from a solid block of aluminum, so permanent alignment is assured and heavy accessories can't force the diagonal body to unscrew from the barrel. These precision 90-degree star diagonals feature fully coated prisms, delivering superior image fidelity. Each features a machined aluminum eyepiece holder and a chrome-plated metal barrel that's threaded for filters. The eyepiece holder has a setscrew for locking the eyepiece securely in place. Both models produce an image that is right-side up and reversed left to right (therefore, not recommended for terrestrial observing).
