Orion HighLight Plossls are our exclusive, premium line of 1. 25" Plossl eyepieces with some noteworthy enhancements. HighLight eyepieces offer a generous 52-deg field of view and crisp, sharp images. The HighLights' 4-element optics are fully multi-coated - every air-to-glass lens surface is multi-layer coated for the highest possible light transmission and better contrast. The lens edges are blackened for additional contrast enhancement. The machined aluminum housings of the HighLight Plossls sport a distinctive anodized finish, with grip traction knurled right into the metal. Supple rubber eyeguards shield out extraneous light and fold down for eyeglass wearers. The barrels of HighLight Plossls are precision-machined to a tolerance of +/- 0. 05mm from the nominal specification, so you can be sure of a great fit in your diagonal or focuser.
