- Model: Kodak KE60 Easy Load 35mm Camera
Review Kodak KE60 Easy Load 35mm Camera / Kodak KE60:Kodak KE60 auto focus camera's convenient EasyLoad feature makes film loading a snap! The camera's stylish design also provides built-in red-eye reduction, with additional help from a red-eye reduction lamp - giving you even better pictures of your favorite people. Its close focus capability and other special features will bring you even closer to the special people in your life!KE60's three-zone auto focus system helps you take sharply focused pictures in a range of situations. Focus lock allows you to place your clearly-focused subject anywhere in the picture. For those situations where you really want to get in close, KE60 lets you take pictures as close as 1. 5 feet (0. 5 meters). Although it will focus this close automatically, you can also choose Portrait Mode to ensure a great planned close-up picture - the camera will enter the close-focus zone no matter how far away the subject, and if its distance exceeds 3 feet, a red light will warn of poor focus. KE60 also features infinity focus lock. In-the-Picture Indicator (IPI) is perfect when using the self-timer or simply when photographing large groups, this feature ensures that everyone who should be in the picture is in the picture. If you can see the red lamp, you're in the picture! Whether you've dimmed the lights to take a photo of a birthday cake or you're in bright light that makes the LCD hard to read, the backlight feature makes it easy to set the camera to take the best pictures possible. Proprietary to Kodak, EasyLoad takes the worry out of film loading. Just slide the film tip in and place the cartridge in the camera - no need to pull out the film leader, no worries about improper loading! Your pictures are safe - never worry again about accidentally opening the film door and ruining your film. The film door automatically locks after loading film into the camera and cannot be opened again until the film is safely rewound. An indicator changes color for extra verification that the door is locked. Kodak gave its KE60 35mm camera a virtually fail-safe film-loading system. Instead of pulling out the film leader, all you have to do is slide the film tip in and place the cartridge in the camera. The Easy Load feature won't let you take pictures if you haven't loaded the film properly. The film door automatically locks after loading film and can't be reopened until the film is rewound. An indicator changes color to verify the door is locked. With the KE60's three-zone autofocus system, you can take sharply focused pictures in a variety of situations. Once you have your subject in focus, the focus lock keeps it there while allowing you to readjust your shot. You can get as close as 1. 5 feet to your subject, and the autofocus keeps your picture sharp. The KE60 also lets you switch to portrait mode to further ensure a great close-up. If you're more than 3 feet from the subject, a red light alerts you to the possibility of poor focus. The camera's in-the-picture feature works well with the 10-second self-timer, or when you're photographing a large group. If the red indicator light on the front of the camera is visible, you know you're in the picture. |

Review Lomo Diana+, Medium Format Camera "Kit" with Removable Lens for Super Wide Angle Pinhole Shots, 120 Film & Lomo Ringflash / Lomographic:Dating back to the early 1960's, the all-plastic Diana camera is a cult legend -famous for its its dreamy, radiant, and lo-fi images. The brand new Diana+ is a faithful reproduction and a loving homage to the classic Diana - with a few new features tossed in. Its plastic lens, 2 shutter settings (daylight & "B"), 3 aperture settings, and manual focus are all hallmarks of the original Diana. But on top of that, the Diana+ offers a removable lens and super-small aperture for pinhole images, two image formats (12 or 16 square shots on a standard 120 roll), an endless panorama feature that allows for unlimited and nearly seamless panoramic shots, and both a standard tripod thread & shutter lock for easy shake-free long exposures. Each package includes the beautiful "Diana Vignettes" book - packed with over 200 pages of Diana history, Diana+ images, and truly off-the-wall short stories. Uses all varieties of medium format 120 film. The Big Picture (Forget All About It) Seriously, just put it all out of your mind. We'll no longer look for the big picture, and there will be no more getting an overview or stepping back to take it all in. All of these concepts imply an abrupt halt to activity - a conscious pause of your natural drive and instincts. As we say day in and day out: Be fast. [+]
Who's got the time to consider the implications when close to a million tremendous potential photos are streaming right past your nose? No Diana owner worth. |

Review Canon EOS IX Lite APS SLR Camera w/ 22-55mm Lens / Canon IX Lite:There are times when you need to take photographs that are professional quality, but you don't have the time or space to pack big-time equipment. The Canon EOS IX Lite is exactly what you need to pack when you're traveling light. Carry this SLR anywhere and everywhere to photograph everything. The EOS IX Lite takes advantage of what Canon calls the Advanced Photo System, a system that lets you change rolls in mid-stream, literally and figuratively. If you're in a lighting situation that requires more or less light than the roll you're currently shooting, change it, without sacrificing any of your photos. That's the beauty of the EOS IX. And just wait until you see the beauty of your photographs. Top quality, big time. Canon incorporates the best features of its standard SLR cameras and Advanced Photo System features to produce the EOS IX Lite. It's smaller than most SLR cameras but retains all of the important features you've come to expect for creative control. [+]
Because it is an APS camera, film handling is fully automatic. Print quality improvement, index print sheets, and three different picture formats for traditional, wide angle, and panoramic shots are all built in. The EOS IX Lite offers automatic adjustment for close-ups, portraits, landscapes, action scenes, and night shots. There is a high-performance three- point autofocus system, and an advanced built-in flash that activates automatically or can be shut off manually. This model includes a 22-55mm zoom lens, the ideal basic lens for the EOS IX Lite. The lens has an ultrasonic motor drive that delivers precise, silent, high-speed auto focusing. It integrates six-zone exposure metering sensors with three autofocus points for ideal exposures in all kinds of lighting conditions. The autofocus system also detects whether the subject is stationary or moving, and automatically adjusts focusing so you can get great shots of sports events. This kit comes with a Canon 22-55mm EF lens; you can add any Canon EF lenses or Speedlites to expand your photographic capabilities. |
