00607 (108R00607) Solid Ink Stick, 3 Ink Sticks, Yellow / You can rely on Innovera for cost-effective printing. Produces affordable color for any document or presentation. Easy to install and replace. Supply Type: Solid Ink Stick; Color(s): Yellow; Device Types: Printer; Ink Yield: N\A. Hewlett-Packard has made setting up home printers a precise science, reducing both confusion and time, resulting in a delightful experience with the DeskJet 960Cse. With the cable and cartridges in place and the power cord connected, we installed the driver software, calibrated the printer, and printed a test page. The entire process was intuitive, took only 20 minutes, and did not require consulting the manual. In our tests, monochrome printing of basic office documents and envelopes turned out exceptionally well. The text was sharp, and the ink dried quickly without smudging. We also printed an assortment of color documents and Web graphics, and the 960Cse performed admirably; color fixed well to the paper without bleeding. [+]
However, when printing color photos from a digital camera, we needed to adjust the printer's photo enhancement settings to get the best quality. The driver software walked us through a variety of options to improve brightness and contrast. At 2,400 x 1,200 dpi, our color photos were sufficiently clear. The printer comes with a sample paper pack that includes several sheets of HP professional brochure and flyer paper and HP premium photo paper. The paper loads easily into a convenient slide-out tray that accepts standard, large, and custom media sizes. The printer also comes with a power cord, CD-ROM, and color and black inkjet cartridges, and it is PC and Mac compatible. You'll need to provide your own parallel or USB printer cable. Overall, we were impressed with the DeskJet 960Cse's color print quality, quick setup, simple operation, and helpful software. -Alexis Odell The Hewlett-Packard 960cse DeskJet printer is designed to deliver higher productivity with clear graphics, flexibility, and dependability on a wide range of media. With 8 MB memory and HP's thermal ink-jet technology, the durably designed DeskJet 960cse includes convenient timesaving features like a print-cancel button, automatic cartridge alignment, and a low-ink indicator. With a maximum resolution of 2,400 x 1,200 dpi when using photo paper, the 960cse is further supported by a paper-type sensor and has a maximum paper capacity of 150 sheets or 15 envelopes, reducing the need to refill.
