With the cable and cartridges in place and the power cord connected, we installed the driver software, calibrated the printer, and printed a test page. The entire process was intuitive, took only 20 minutes, and did not require consulting the manual. In our tests, monochrome printing of basic office documents and envelopes turned out exceptionally well. The text was sharp, and the ink dried quickly without smudging. We also printed an assortment of color documents and Web graphics, and the 960Cse performed admirably; color fixed well to the paper without bleeding.
