AXIS Camera Station software is an IP-surveillance software that works with Axis network cameras and video servers to provide video monitoring, recording and event management functions. With the AXIS Camera Station installed on your Windows PC, you can simultaneously view and record images or video from multiple cameras. This software includes multiple recording modes, such as continuous, scheduled, on-alarm and on-motion detection. The embedded AXIS Image Enhancer component can be unlocked with an additional license key (sold separately) and activated to improve image clarity in poor visibility conditions such as fog, smoke, rain and snow. This software features multiple search functions for recorded events, remote access via a Web browser or Windows client (included), and multilingual language support, including English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Additional features for this software include alarm alert functions (both sound and email notification), full duplex real-time audio support without recording, and applications for controlling camera configuration and functions such as pan, tilt and zoom. Each software license allows you to view MPEG2 and MPEG4 formats for up to 16 cameras (depending on license) simultaneously. [+]
This Camera Station software has a recording database limited only by the hardware it is installed on, and can save all system messages on-screen, in log files, and even via email. This software runs on the Windows XP Pro, 2000, or 2003 Server platforms, or IIS (Internet Information Server) for the Web client, and requires Internet Explorer version 6. 0 or higher. Review Mace CAM81C Color Camera in Non-Operating Smoke Detector / Mace Group CAM81C:

1/4 CCD Sharp Image Sensor 380 Lines of ResolutionLens - CS Mount 3. 6mmMinimum Illumination - 1 LUXIncludes power supplyShipping package dimensions: 5x5x5 (len x wid x dep) The Mace CAM81C Color Camera in Non-Operating Smoke Detector is a high-quality surveillance camera that can be hidden in plain site. Easily installed and integrated into any Mace surveillance system, this hidden camera appears to observers as a regular smoke detector, allowing you to monitor a room discreetly. This camera utilizes a 0. 25-inch color Sharp CCD (charge-coupled device) image sensor, with 270,000 effective pixels. Constructed with a standard 3. 6-millimeter fixed lens, the Mace CAM81C has a high resolution of 420 horizontal TVL (TV lines), and achieves a S/N (signal-to-noise) ratio of 45 dB or better. This unit operates on the NTSC signal format, and is decent in low-light conditions with a minimum illumination of one Lux in color. The CAM81C uses a standard video output, and runs on 12-volts of DC power. The CAM81C comes complete with a built-in automatic electronic shutter with speeds ranging from 1/50 to 1/100,000 of a second. [+]
Technical Features: Lens: 3. 6 millimeter fixed S/N ratio: better than 45 dB Sensitivity: 1 Lux in color Horizontal resolution: 420 TVL The Mace CAM81C camera is a super-discreet and high-quality addition to any surveillance system. This camera comes completely assembled and ready to go, and is easy to both install and set up. Users should be aware that this unit does not have smoke-detection capabilities and can not be used as a smoke detector. Users should note that the CCD sensor may become permanently damaged if exposed to long hours of direct sunlight or halogen light, so the camera should not be mounted or pointed directly at the sun or other bright-light sources. About Surveillance Camera Technical Features Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Thus a sensitivity of three Lux would mean a camera could generate an acceptable picture of a piece-of-paper-sized object that was illuminated by the equivalent of three candles from one meter away. The lower the Lux level, the better the camera's ability to work in low-light conditions. The camera's resolution should be greater than or equal to the resolution supported by the system's recorder or monitor. The S/N, or signal to noise ratio, is an important measure of a camera's quality. A poor camera, low-light conditions or poor wiring causes "noise" which consumes processing power and disk space. A camera with a wide dynamic range is ideal, especially for recording areas in which both indoor and outdoor light are present. CCD (charge-coupled device) sensors provide high-quality images that are less susceptible to noise. CMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor) sensors offer less image quality, but are usually more cost-effective and energy efficient.
