Multi-Tech Systems MMH908CA/56 Weight: 21 pounds

Review Multitech Systems MMH908Ca/56 MMH Multiplexer / Multi-Tech Systems MMH908CA/56:The MultiMux MMH-Series statistical multiplexer consolidates up to eight data channels for transmission over one synchronous or asynchronous analog, ISDN or digital line. This multiplexer has a solid reputation as a reliable multi-user solution and is ideal for small to midsize companies that want to connect remote terminals and PCs to a central site legacy system. The MultiMux is a statistical time division multiplexer. It aggregates bandwidth allowing active users to share all of the available bandwidth, unlike frequency and time division multiplexers. Frequency and time division multiplexers dedicate a portion of the bandwidth to each user. So even when a channel is active, the bandwidth cannot be used by others. Asynchronous devices gain improved accuracy when connected to MultiMux. Features supported by MultiMux include buffering, flow control, and pacing features. This means the MultiMux supports high traffic levels without compromising data integrity. In addition MultiMux can reduce your data communication costs by eliminating multiple data lines at one site and eliminating modems for each asynchronous device And scalable MultiMux architecture makes it easy to grow as your networking demands grow. |

Key features OMNITRON SYSTEMS 2800
- Sold Individually
- Model: Omnitron Systems OmniMux 400X 5250 8MM Multiplexer (2800)
Review Omnitron Systems OmniMux 400X 5250 8MM Multiplexer (2800) / OMNITRON SYSTEMS 2800:The OmniMux 400XL is a multifunctional 5250 twinax over fiber super-multiplexer-star. It concentrates 8 ports from a local or remote controller and delivers them to a maximum of 8 different distant locations via 8 fiber pairs. The 400XL performs the function of up to 8 standard OmniMux 400 multiplexers or fiber converters. The OmniMux 400XL utilizes a digital Phase Locked Architecture (PLA). This technology facilitates reliable data acquisition with data rate variations of -2% to +4%. This facilitates consistent connectivity with all IBM and compatible devices and host models. It also facilitates a high degree of noise and crosstalk immunity. The XL monitors all incoming data streams simultaneously, checking for data activity and errors. Once the valid data frame is recovered, it is processed and checked. True data activity or errors are displayed for each link using LED displays thus helping in monitoring network operation and problem isolation. [+]
When a valid data frame header is recognized, the data frame "Cuts Through" and is retransmitted. It is fully regenerated and restored to its full original amplitude, and any lost start bits are reconstructed and regenerated. Each data bit is reshaped and reclocked at a 50% duty cycle eliminating any clock jitter and ensuring reliable connectivity. |

Review Adtran Isu 512E ISDN Inverse Multiplexer 10BT Snmp / ADTRAN 1203086L1:The ADTRAN ISU 512e is a standalone ISDN Service Unit that connects data terminal equipment (DTE) to the ISDN network. The ISU 512e is specifically designed as a low-cost solution for applications such as video-conferencing, T1 backup, LAN/WAN connectivity, and high-speed file transfer. Embedded SNMP & Telnet are available through a 10BaseT Ethernet port. Through the Management Information Base (MIB)-II standard and an ADTRAN-supplied enterprise MIB, the ISU 512e can be configured, monitored and diagnosed using standard SNMP network management programs such as HP Openview, Netview and SunNet Manager. The ISU 512e connects directly to the ISDN network using up to four Basic Rate ISDN (BRI) lines. By terminating four BRI circuits, the ISU 512e can create an aggregate bandwidth of up to 512 kbps which can be used to backup a T1 circuit. Since ISDN is a switched digital service, bandwidth can be established and utilized on an as needed basis. Therefore, the ISU 512e is well suited for applications where a high bandwidth connection is needed to support bursty or infrequent traffic like medical image or large file transfer. The ISU 512e can be configured and maintained, locally or remotely, using a VT 100 terminal interface. For remote configuration, the unit can be accessed over the ISDN line. [+]
The front panel of the ISU 512e consists of a two-line by 16 character LCD display, seven LEDs, and a 16-button keypad. This allows for configuring, dialing, testing, and monitoring of the unit without data terminal or test equipment. |
