  • Improved transmission translates to maximum image brightness and contrast. Users of smaller, 4"-11" telescopes will especially appreciate the high efficiency, and larger scope users will love the rich star fields and detailed subtle nebular shadings that are left intact.
  • The multi-layer dielectric coatings are plasma assisted and Ionbeam hardened using the latest technology for durability and resistance to scratching.
  • The high transmission, sharp cutoffs, and more moderate 60nm passband of the UHC/LPR filter retains a more natural view, yet significantly boosts overall contrast. Imagers will appreciate the broader bandpass and inclusion of an extremely efficient H-Alpha passband (656nm)
  • Model: Celestron 2" UHC / LPR Filter

Review Celestron 2" UHC / LPR Filter / Celestron:

Light Pollution Reduction (LPR) Filters are designed to selectively reduce the transmission of certain wavelengths of light, specifically those produced by artificial light. This includes mercury vapor, and both high and low pressure sodium vapor lights and the unwanted natural light caused by neutral oxygen emission in our atmosphere (i. e. sky glow). The new ultra high contrast (UHC) LPR filter has improved contrast over the typical broadband filters. Sky background is darker, and contrast of emission nebulae are noticeably improved. The advanced technology coatings enable the filter to achieve an outstanding transmission of over 97% across the entire bandpass, with total blockage of prominent light pollution lines. The perfect filter for viewing nebula from light polluted skies, or for boosting the contrast of nebula from dark sky sites. In addition to it's optimum spectral and optical characteristics, the UHC/LPR filter offers important features that set it apart and result in the highest quality celestial views:.

Review Meade 10 lb. Counterweight for LXD75 Telescopes / Meade 07621:

Digi-T
Digi-T
Weight: 0.05 pounds
Price: $29.95

Review ScopeTronix Digi-T Digital Camera Adapter T-ring for 1.25" Eyepieces, Requires Step Rings to Fit Camera. / Digi-T:

The Digi-T system is quick, secure, and easy to use. Less Vignetting - When coupling a digital camera to a telescope it is imperative that the eyepiece lens and the camera lens are as close together as possible, a separation of even 1/2" will result in an image like looking through a soda straw. When installed onto the eyepiece Digi-T is flush with the top. Thanks to Digi-T's exclusive "thread-through-thread" design the step ring then threads completely over it, adding zero length. No other adapter gets as close!Fits More Eyepieces - There are 2 types of conventional eyepiece projection adapters, fixed length and variable. The fixed length adapters are too short to hold the most popular eyepieces (such as the 26mm Super Plossl) and too narrow to hold many others. The variable length adapters are designed for film cameras and are simply too long to allow the close coupling necessary for digital cameras, in addition they are still too narrow to hold any of the wider field eyepieces. Digi-T fits a 4mm Plossl or a 40mm Plossl! No Back Focus Problems - All conventional eyepiece projection adapters have one thing in common, they lift the eyepiece up in the holder by about 1". For many refractors and reflectors this is a serious problem as they can no longer reach focus! This is especially true with the popular ETX60/70 telescopes. Since Digi-T attaches to the top of the eyepiece it doesn't change the eyepiece position at all and focus remains the same.
