  • Excellent for reducing artificial light
  • The Model B has back threads, perfect for Schmidt-Cassegrain
  • Permit the transmission of more desirable wavelengths
  • Model: Celestron 94127A Light Pollution Reduction Filter (Model B)

Review Celestron 94127A Light Pollution Reduction Filter (Model B) / Celestron 94127A:

Celestron Telescope Light Pollution Reduction (LPR) Filters are designed to selectively reduce the transmission of certain wavelengths of light, specifically those produced by artificial light. This includes mercury, and both high and low pressure sodium vapor lights. In addition, they block unwanted natural light caused by neutral oxygen emission in our atmosphere (i. e. sky glow). As a result, Celestron LPR Filters darken the background sky, making deep-sky observation and photography of nebulae, star clusters and galaxies possible from urban areas. While blocking unwanted light, Celestron LPR Filters permit the transmission of more desirable wave-lengths. The wavelengths included are hydrogen alpha, hydrogen beta, doubly ionized oxygen and singly ionized nitrogen. This will improve your viewing of emission nebulae, both from urban and rural settings.

  • Model: Meade 933 45 Degree Erecting Prism

Review Meade 933 45 Degree Erecting Prism / Meade 933:

#933 45° Erecting Prism: Typical of most astronomical telescopes, images throughthe ETX-60AT and ETX-70AT appear right-side-up but reversed left-for-right. For astronomical viewing this orientation is of no consequence. However, for terrestrial observing, where a fully correctly oriented image is desirable, the #933 45° Erecting Prism threads on to the telescope's rear cell and accepts an eyepiece of any focal length. The Meade 933 45-degree erecting prism aids terrestrial observing where a correctly oriented image is desirable. It threads onto the telescope's rear cell and accepts an eyepiece of any focal length.

  • Model: Orion 10mm Ultrascopic, 1.25" Eyepiece

Review Orion 10mm Ultrascopic, 1.25" Eyepiece / ORION:

The Ultrascopic eyepiece series offers unsurpassed image fidelity. Rather than having a single layer of magnesium fluoride on most lens elements, Ultrascopics are Ultra Multi-Coated, meaning that every air-to-glass lens surface is vacuum coated with multiple antireflective layers. There is no higher level of multi-coating. These coatings, coupled with a low-reflection barrel with blackened lens edges, improves both brightness and contrast of faint nebulas and galaxies. These premium 1. 25" eyepieces employ 5- or 7-elements using high-refractive-index glass. Each produces a wide 52-degree apparent field of view (49-degree for the 35mm). Internally threaded for filters.
